Food traceability has been a hot topic over the last decade. With demand for robust food traceability coming from both the government and the consumer, processors have had to take a good look at their existing traceability processes. This has led to a significant increase in processors adopting technology-enabled traceability systems. Over the last 10 years, many food processors have moved from a pen and paper traceability system to technology-enabled traceability.
